Regular Activities



Our regular activities comprise meditation, dharma talks, kong-an practice and chanting.


Our practice consists of sitting and walking meditation and we meet twice a week.

Tuesdays 8-10pm (For experienced students)
Thursdays 8-10pm (For newer students)

If you are new to Zen, you are welcome to join us on Thursday nights and should you require instruction in meditation, please arrive before 7:30pm. Our sitting periods are normally 30 minutes long. There is a short talk and an opportunity to ask questions after meditation on Thursday nights.




We also conduct other activities besides the regular meditation practice.

These include:

  • Zen meditation courses
  • Dharma talks and short meditation retreats
  • Teachings by visiting Zen Masters
  • Working Zen – e.g. making traditional Korean lotus lanterns
  • Dharma trips
